Case Study: Gorilla Logic cuts client security reviews from 40-80 hours to 2-4 with JumpCloud
Key results
The challenge
Gorilla Logic, a software consulting and development firm with more than 700 consultants across offices in Colorado, Costa Rica, and Colombia plus a remote workforce, needed a centralized source of identity and access management. The IT team had no centralized system for managing laptops, limited remote device control, and was working on an accelerated timeline to reach ISO 27001 compliance.
The solution
After evaluating Okta and Google Cloud Identity, Gorilla Logic selected the JumpCloud cloud directory platform for identity, access, and device management, including Apple MDM. The team used it to enforce password and screen-lock policies, manage installed software, remotely wipe laptops, and integrate with Google Workspace, enabling zero-touch onboarding.
“JumpCloud and ISO 27001 have been a windfall for us in terms of sales. Now we're in a position to land nearly any client out there from a security point of view.”

The results, in context
With JumpCloud in place alongside centralized logging and antivirus, Gorilla Logic achieved ISO 27001 compliance. The company reported that the time spent in the sales cycle demonstrating its security posture fell from 40-80 hours to 2-4 hours, allowing it to move through security reviews and land clients faster.
