How we verify results

Case Study Desk is a third-party index. We are not any listed company’s own website. Evidence here comes at two levels: sourced, which every entry gets, and verified, where the customer named in the study has confirmed the result themselves.

Level 1 · Every entry

Sourced & dated

The figure is quoted from a public page, linked to that page, and dated. This is a claim we can show you the origin of — it is not a claim we have audited. The numbers remain the companies’ own published assertions, and we say so plainly rather than dressing them up.

Level 2 · Where available

Verified by the customer

Marketing pages are written by the vendor. So we go to the other side: the customer named in the study confirms the result themselves, from an address on their own company domain. We reply to that address to confirm it’s genuinely them — only someone with access to that inbox can answer.

When that happens the case study carries a Verified badge naming who confirmed it (role and company), the domain it came from, and the date. We check that the confirmation genuinely came from that company — we still don’t independently audit the underlying number.

How every entry is built

We document from the original published source

Every result we list comes from a public, citable source — usually the vendor’s or customer’s own case study, website, or press release. If a figure isn’t backed by a public source, we don’t list it.

We restructure onto a consistent skeleton

Each case study is rewritten onto the same structure — company, challenge, solution, quantified results, named quote where one exists, products used — so results are directly comparable and machine-readable.

We attribute and date every claim

We record the source link and publication date for each figure, plus a last-updated date for our own entry. Every number links back to the page it came from.

One standard for every entry

Every entry meets the same evidentiary standard: figures quoted from a primary public source, linked and dated. Where a company pays a fee, it covers research and publication — it never buys ranking, framing, or a verification badge, and we decline companies whose claims don’t meet the standard.

In short: we don’t generate evidence — we index and structure it. Every number on this site should be traceable back to a source you can open and check yourself.
