The solution
SK techx implemented Tyk Self-Managed (unlimited nodes) for API gateway management, authentication, rate limiting, quota limits, and analytics, integrating it with the company's token-based authentication system across two gateways managing 40 APIs.
The results, in context
The API now handles almost 35 million transactions per day and can process up to 20,000 transactions per second at peak, double the team's previous target of 10,000 TPS and an increase of more than 100%. Two Tyk gateways manage 40 APIs with high availability for enterprise clients.
